Our Story
Welcome to Big Bad Bites! We originally opened as the food truck, Kajun Kettle, in 2015. After serving plate lunches and refining the business, we rebranded as Rouge A Roux's in 2017.
After serving office lunches, school events, festivals & refinery lunches on the streets of the greater Baton Rouge area, we've decided to establish some roots in Gonzales, LA!
Offering dine-in, drive-thru, online order, curbside & delivery -- we aren't here to be your typical fast food stop! We use the highest quality ingredients like 44 Farms beef & Gambino's French Bread just to name a few. We also believe in supporting local vendors (who are also mobile like us) through our restaurant. This is why we have teamed up with Louisiana Lemonade & City Gelato to offer you the best lemonade & dessert in the south! Come stop by & see why we aren't fast food, just good food fast!
